A great resource to practice point group assignment skills and visualizing symmetry in a variety of molecules.

This website has interactive 3D views of different molecules in different point groups. Symmetry elements can be viewed individually or all at once to aid in assignment practice.

It is recommended to complement using this resource with the course flow chart initially (3-5 times) then without later. It may be helpful also to begin with the Symmetry Tutorial before doing practice in the Symmetry Gallery. The Symmetry Challenge should be done last after you’ve built confidence in assigning point groups reliably without looking at the flow chart.
